Read the Catechism in a Year

In launching the year of Faith the Holy Father has called us all to take up study of the Catechism once again:

It is in this sense that that the Year of Faith will have to see a concerted effort to rediscover and study the fundamental content of the faith that receives its systematic and organic synthesis in the Catechism of the Catholic Church.

The Holy Father points out that in the Catechism we find the  ’wealth of teaching that the Church has received’.  Flock note is offering a free subscription service that will email a section of the Catechism each day, ensuring that by the end of the year of faith you will have read the entire Catechism.

One Response to Read the Catechism in a Year

  1. Sharon says:

The edition of the Catechism illustrated is a good one because it has a glossary which I have found very useful. I am reading the Catechism in a way which suits me: Fr John Bartunek’s book “The Better Par”t has a meditation on the gospel of the day and at the end are Catechism recommendations which relate to the reading.
