You inspired Saint Mary of the Cross to live her life faithful to the Gospel of Jesus Christ and be an example to all of faith, hope and love.
With confidence in your generous providence
and through the intercession of Saint Mary of the Cross
We ask that you grant our request……………….
We ask that our faith and hope be renewed by the power of the Holy Spirit so that we too, like St Mary of the Cross, may live with courage, trust and fidelity.

God our Father, Shepherd and Guide, look with love on your servant, Pope Benedict XVI, the pastor of your Church. Grant that his word and example may inspire and guide the Church, and that he, and all those entrusted to his care, may come to the joy of everlasting life. We ask this through Christ, our Lord. Almighty and eternal God,
who created us in Thy image

We thank Thee for the blessings bestowed upon the work of priests and religious; and we pray that Thou wilt add to the number of those who now pray, labor, and sacrifice themselves for Thy glory and the salvation of souls.
