More Snow from Rome

This photo came overnight from one of the Melbourne Seminarians studying in Rome at the moment.
My guess is that the Borgo Pio will be selling out of these in the next few days.
Here is what he is really doing.

That looks awesome.
The pope is surrounded by some nice wood there. Is that oak?
I don’t know, I’ll have a closer look next time I am in his private study.
Love that Aussie wit!
Thanks for sharing, my little children pray to see snow one day but how wonderful and what a treat for our seminarians.
Notice how with the quite heavy snow, it makes you more aware of all the beautiful variations of colour in the stonework of Basilica San Pietro – and in the surrounding buildings also. So love that European stonework – we are starved for it in Australia [by comparison].
