‘The Human Experience’, into every School

Earlier in the week I wrote about the Australian premier screenings of ‘The Human Experience’. you can see what I wrote here. I encouraged people to buy a copy and sit down and watch it as a family.
Then I thought to myself, what would happen if every person bought two copies; one for home, and one for their local secondary school. With the Australian dollar being so good at the moment, splash out, buy two and pop one in an envelope with a nice note and drop it on the desk of your local principal, deputy, religious education co-ordinator.
Imagine the effect that could be had if this thought provoking documentary was seen by every senior secondary student before they left school.
Most Catholic Secondary Schools in Australia run some form of Ethics based RE curriculum for their VCE/HSC students. Imagine if they had in their hands a DVD which speaks to their young people about the beauty and sacredness of every human life, of the value of suffering, and the Christian call of love and service of the poorest of the poor.
Let’s get ‘The Human Experience’ into ever Catholic School in the country, and then we can work on the other schools.
If anyone has a spare $2000 so we can do it one one foul swoop drop me a line, I’ll pay for the postage and handling.
Order your copies now.
